Members are issued with a Club handbook which, amongst other things, sets out the rules under which all drivers should race.
They are mostly commonsense - and as a result of experience - but model car racing is supposed to be fun, so the rules are not always strictly enforced at club events. Safety is vital however.
Because model car racing is competitive, disputes can occur. The rules are there to sort out any problems.
Unfortunately, penalties are also needed for those who do not want to follow these commonsense rules. We try not to use them.
