Tuesday Evenings - Runnymede Hall, Benfleet - SS7 1TF

 

The track is marked out with ropes laid on carpet. A different design every week - but usually includes a long fast section and a more twisty 'in-field' section.

Race heats are arranged for: -
1/10 scale standard saloons (27 turn electric motors)
1/12 scale mardave mini stock and caterham
1/12th scale circuit racers

We also have a "hot rod" heat for those with high skills and strong nerves!

Drivers are grouped in race 'heats' according to car and ability, and have two races to qualify for their position in the Finals - based on fastest time for the race. Finishing position in the Finals decides the driver's performance rating and league points.

   Doors open at 7pm. Arrive as early as you can and book in immediately (no advance booking required).
Racing starts as soon as the track is ready and everybody is booked in, normally 8pm. We try to finish as early as possible.

Drivers have a good view of the track from the hall stage.   Pitting tables and 240v power are available.

Limited refreshments are available.

    What you must bring:
A protective table cover (preferably heat resistant).
An extension lead if you want to use 240v power.
A strong container if you bring a 12 volt battery
