Almost a perfect start to the day, a warm early morning on a clean track.

This was Jonathan's first heat run, with local driver, Andy Robson less than 2.5 seconds behind, while Richard King was almost there with a fast 17 lap time.

How much better would the times have been if the rain hadn't changed the track grip and temperature almost immediately afterwards??!!

It could be an interesting year!
