  The Southend RCCC Winter Race Competition Series (The Essex Open) transfers to the big track at Eversley Sports Centre for the 2009/10 season and links with Rug Racers to create an Inter-Series Competition (ISC) with common rules and criteria (see link below) and the opportunity to score points at both venues with a total of eleven meetings between 11 October and 21 March.

Drivers who attended the January 2009 event will remember the long straights and wide, sweeping curves set in a space 32 metres wide and 16 metres deep, and the driving control area on the high level balcony providing excellent visibility of the whole track.

   Race Format:
Doors open 9am
Designated practice per race class
Three qualifying rounds
Three finals.

Race Classes - 1/10th saloons
TC1: Modified - unrestricted motor wind;
TC2: SuperStock - 10.5 Bl / 19t Br;
TC3: Stock - 13.5 Bl / 27t Br;

Rules - synopsis
Control tyres - MM sweep 32 pre-glued.
Li-Po cells accepted subject to published safety procedures.
