A good level of entries gave 7 heats of 13.5 touring class of saloons, include a dedicated heat for junior drivers, and a strong support heat for Mardaves, Tamiya minis - and even a Shark mini-truck!

The slightly different track layout provided a good fast straight, with smooth infields and enough complication to challenge most drivers attempting to maintain their speed.

The exciting "A" Final saw Mark Fuller match his qualifying time, 8 seconds ahead of Richard Thorpe in second place and 1 lap ahead of cars 6 - 9
