Tuesday Evenings - Runnymede Hall, Benfleet - SS7 1TF

 

The track is laid on carpet, marked out with square section drainpipe linked by soft curve sections to create a clear, open  circuit with long fast sections and a twisty 'in-field' section.

We welcome any electrically powered model vehicle below 1/8th scale, though the most common format includes: -

1/10 scale saloons with standard motors
(27t brushed, 13.5 brushless)
mardave mini stock, and caterham with 'stock' motors
Mardave mini V12 in 'modified' format
1/12th scale circuit racers
1/10 scale GT10 'pan' cars and F1 style racers

Drivers are grouped in race 'heats' according to car and ability, and have two races to qualify for their position in the Finals - based on fastest time for the race. Finishing position in the Finals decides the driver's performance rating and league points.

   Doors open at 7pm. Racing will start around 7.30pm.

Arrive early and prepare your car - but don't forget the track! We try to finish early - but need help to clear the track!

Drivers have a good view of the track from the hall stage.   Pitting tables and 240v power are available.

Limited refreshments are available.

Colin Bliss brings a comprehensive supply of parts with him from his model shop. - Come along and enjoy yourself!
 

  
    What you must bring:
A protective table cover (preferably heat resistant).
An extension lead if you want to use 240v power.
A strong container if you bring a 12 volt battery
