As a 'resort' town, Southend has the benefit of a wide range of small Hotels and Guest Houses in the 'traditional' style - mostly in central Southend. In recent years, 'Motel-style' accommodation has been added to meet the needs of the business community.

Directions: From the track entrance, turn right onto Eastwoodbury Lane heading east. Continue past the Audi Garage and two 'major' roundabouts then turn left at a mini roundabout into Aviation Way. NB: If you pass a church and the lights at the end of the runway to Southend airport you have gone too far! |

Directions: From the track; re-join the A127 towards London. Continue for approximately 2 miles to the Rayleigh turnoff (slip road to left). The Motel complex is visible on the other side of the road. Turn right at the junction above the underpass and follow the slip road towards the A127. Turn left from the slip road into the motel complex. |

Directions: From the track; re-join the A127 towards London. Continue for approximately 2 miles to the Rayleigh turnoff (slip road to left). Turn left past Sainsburys and towards Hadleigh. At the large roundabout, follow signs to Benfleet, past Magnet and Southerns. At the water tower, the road turns left down hill and you can see Canvey. Turn left at the war memorial, continuing downhill, then under the railway bridge and follow the road onto Canvey Island. Turn left at the roundabout with the golf course on the left. The road eventually becomes Knightswick Road. |

Directions to the Kursaal
The Guest House acommodation area is centered around the Kursaal - itself an easily recognised landmark on the sea front. It is an entertainment complex on the eastern edge of the 'tourist' area and is distinquished by a large domed roof.
From the track entrance, turn right onto Eastwoodbury Lane heading east.
Turn right at the Audi Garage around the first 'major' roundabout then turn left towards Southend at the roundabout for the A127.
Continue on the A127 following signs to the Town Centre. Turn left onto the A13 at the roundabout after Southend Victoria Railway Station, and follow signs to the seafront (via the underpass).
Turn left at the first roundabout and right at the next. The next roundabout is at the seafront and outside the Kursaal.
